Drop'N'Music V1.1
by: Eric Ruth Games

About:

Drop 'N' Music is a feux bemani installation that I cranked out in
about 3 weeks. I meant for the title to pay tribute to Konami and
their talented staff who have given us years of great products
spanning a variety of titles. The main focus of the game is to
survive the song you select by using the "Beat Bubbles" to eliminate
the multicolored rising blocks. Scores are tallied, records kept
and secrets are to be found in the first combination music/puzzle
project from Eric Ruth Games.

System Requirements:
1. A PC running Windows 2000, ME, XP or Vista
2. Current copy of DirectX8 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/)
3. Compatable DirectX8 sound card
4. Screen resolution of at least 800x600

Q & A Time:

Q: What happens if I find bugs or problems?
A: Contact me with said problem at ericdavidruth@gmail.com

Q: The game won't start. What do I do?
A: As always, my first recommendation is to check your system
to make sure it is compatible to play. If you're running a
MAC, you're outta luck. If that is all set and good, try the
ever awesome "computer restart." If that falls through, check
your system settings to make sure there are no extranious
programs conflicting with the game. After that, just e-mail me
and I'll see what I can do to help.

Q: Are all the featured songs Konami Originals?
A: Yes they are. I took a handful of music I truly enjoy and
appreciate from the great musician at Konami and spoon fed
them the beat bubble patterns.

Q: What if I want to use a game controller to play instead of
the keyboard?
A: You can't. It's a mouse based game (and my first one!)
that uses your cursor to select the beat bubbles.

Q: Why don't the note bubbles sync up properly with the songs?
A: This can happen for several reasons. Most likely of which
is that your computer isn't a top notch machine. The faster
the computer your playing it on, the better the songs sync up.
Don't worry though as the music isn't detrementel to gameplay
like the rest of the Bemani series.
